18 months after my knee replacement.. I was overweight, suffering with Achilles Tendinitis, couldn’t walk or spend time in my allotment. I was at a real low point..

 

Starting 121 with Tracy was a turning point.

She gave me hope.

 

5 months on I’m 2 stone lighter!!

Happily walked 10 miles in the Outer Hebrides

Could garden for hours.. no pain

 

I feel so good, positive & energetic

SUFFERING PHYSICALLY & EMOTIONALLY WITH PAIN-LOST

I was feeling really low back in April, my knee replacement 18 months before wasn't great and my Achilles Tendinitis had come back severely. I was told by the specialist that it ‘might’ be better in 2 years if I kept on stretching and walking.

It really was a low moment. I couldn't walk in the hills, or spend much time on my allotment, both things I love to do.


HOPE

Then a friend suggested I have a 1-2-1 with Tracy.

That was the turning point for me. She gave me hope that with the right guidance & encouragement I could be better physically as well as mentally.  She broke down everything into achievable units, so it wasn't as daunting as I had feared.

 

LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE & IMPLEMENTATION

Losing weight, 2 stone in 5 months, has been amazing! I feel so good - positive, energetic & more than capable of maintaining what I've achieved. 

I had tried Slimming World before, & managed 1 1/2 stone in 7 months, which all crept back on. This time I understand so much more about food, & how to enjoy it, than I ever did with the SW regime. My mindset has shifted along with science based education.

 

UNDERSTANING & HAVING THE RIGHT PLAN IN PLACE

Tracy also suggested weekly spinning classes, this was to strengthen my legs & rehabilitate my knee. Well, it’s working! I happily walked 10 miles in the Outer Hebrides this summer, & can garden for hours on end without discomfort. 


HAPPY

I'm now moving onto the next stage of my journey.  I'm starting strength training to get back into shape, I feel as if I can do this now as I've got a strong base to work from. I know that with my own commitment & Tracy's encouragement I can & will stay fitter, leaner & much happier than I have for years.
